Preservation

Preservation includes the actions a person can take to improve the life expectancy of their objects, whether the objects are papers and photographs, textiles, jewelry or born-digital objects. As part of National Preservation Week 2013, which ran April 22-25, the Traverse Area District Library and the History Center of Traverse City jointly sponsored a series on "Preserving your Family Treasures". Included here are the presentations and handouts delivered by the speakers for your use. Please do not reuse without permission, but feel free to reproduce with appropriate credit given.
