She is the granddaughter of Bernice Stinson Tremain, a life-time resident of Kingsley and member of the Woman's Civic Club. Bernice Stinson served as the first librarian of the Kingsley Public Library, a service provided to the community by the Woman's Civic Club.

An account of the resource
Sally Norman donated this collection of still images for inclusion in the Traverse Area District Libraries' digital repository; Norman retains the originals. The Norman Collection includes many images of prominent Kingsley families including the Tremain and Stinson families.
Norman herself was a long-time resident of Kingsley, Michigan, and her family were prominent community members. She is the granddaughter of Bernice Stinson Tremain, a life-time resident of Kingsley and member of the Woman's Civic Club. Bernice Stinson served as the first librarian of the Kingsley Public Library, a service provided to the community by the Woman's Civic Club.
