Train from Frankfort to Beulah in Benzie County beside the Betsie River.

Pictures of sunken logs being recovered from the Betsie River in Benzie county. The process was called "deadheading" and started following the building of the Thompsonville power dam and continued into the 1940's when most of the logs were gone.
