Finding aid for the Foote/Ferrell Family Records. The Foote family owned and operated a tannery in the Traverse City area during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This collection of documents primarily relates to a descendant of John Newcomb Foote (1825-1902), Clara Foote Ferrell, and her membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution organization. Documents include photographs, news clippings, certificates, articles, land titles, albums, and membership documents related to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
