Description
An account of the resource
Float in the Cherry Festival Parade on the 100 block of West Front Street with two young women in bathing suits. One girl is seated on a large chair and the other in a bowl of cherries. Between them is a grand piano and a figure made to look like Liberace. The sign on the float says " Liberace Says...Life is a Bowl of Cherries." In the background you can see the Bentsley Cleaners, the Eagles Lodge and the Traverse City State Bank Building. It is probably from the 1960's. There are a number of business signs located on the side of the float.
