Description An account of the resource The Petertyl Family featured in this collection lived in the Traverse City, Michigan area. This collection contains materials representing aspects of their daily lives, mostly in the Traverse City and Leelanau counties of Michigan. Materials in this collection consist of albums of black and white photographic images, personal letters from Louis Petertyl during his time as a sergeant in WWI, Masonic Temple menu booklets, a local Newspaper page, and an ephemera piece. This collection of materials were acquired and curated by the Traverse Area Historical Society. Donated to the Traverse Area District Library in February 2016.
