Color postcard photograph of "Old Logging Locomotive at Clinch Park in Traverse City, Michigan. On a site that was once a huge sawmill in the old logging days stands an old locomotive which hauled many logs from the forests around Traverse City to the saw mills. It came from the Day Estate in Leelanau County to Clinch Park, where along with the zoo, aquarium and Con Foster museum, it is a favorite background for thousands of snapshots taken each season by the throngs of visitors who visit the park in downtown Traverse City."

Three photograph albums comprise the bulk of this collection: one dedicated to the Blackhurst family, another to a party given in Edith's honor by her former students at the Mayfield School in 1985, and the third to the dedication of Mayfield Pond Park in 1991. Albums contain may images of landmarks and people of Mayfield.
