Description
Orpha Couturier Woodcox behind the counter at J&S hamburger restaurant. The restaurant was started about 1939 by Mr. Johncock and Homer Smith, thus the J&S name. Shortly after that Mr. Smith bought out Mr, Johncock. (It is thought but not confirmed, that he was related to the stock car driver Gordon Johncock, also of Michigan)
