Description
The Octonary Club on Lake Leelanau (then Carp Lake). The club was comprised of four couples, Alfred Jahraus, his wife and 6 others who would vacation at the clubhouse in the summer. A number of prominent Traverse City families had clubs or cottages in this area , which was previously the Heimforth farm.
