Description
Anthony Send & Edith Send - Union Street
It's April 4th 1923, and Anthony and Edith Sned looked dressed to go "Up Town." They are standing on the south Union street bridge. Behind them to the right is the back of the Central united Methodist Church. But notice that this photo has been 'flipped'. If one stands on the south Union street bridge facing east, you will see Central United Methodist Church, but it will be on the left with the river on the right. Also, notice the snow on the ground. - Northern Michigan was as cold in 1923 as it is today!
