Description
Home of W.H. Bronson and wife his Deliah in Monroe Center. Built c.1860 and stood until 1948 or later. The village was on the Northport to Newego highway, a mail route to the south.
Monroe Center was one of the first official settlement in what is now Green Lake Township. At the time it was part of Blair Township but in 1883 Green Lake became a separate township. It was a farming community south of Grawn on Co. 633 and a few buildings still remain.
