Description
Union Street near Front St., 4 ladies with horse and buggy. L-R: Allie Wilkins, Flora Heck, Carrie Miller and ? Smith. Women in our ca 1895 photo may well have belonged to two of honored womens organizations - the ladies Library Association and/or the Traverse City Womans Club. Allie Wilkins, Flora Heck, Carrie Miller, and ? Smith are sitting pretty in their carraige near the southeast corner of Front and Union. The Masonic Building sits right behind them, and in the left background is the Hannah lay Mercantile Building, today the location of Boyne Mounatain Sports.
