Description
Traverse City State Hospital, likely within the Women's Ward. Women are seated in the hallway outside what appears to be the doorways to personal rooms. Most are seated and wearing lap blankets. Two women are standing, and both have bow ties around their necks, perhaps indicating that they are staff. In addition to the women, the photograph reveals much detail in the intricate carpet that runs the length of the hallway. Image is a copy made from the original negative, number 2016.14.182.
