Black and white image of the north side of the 100 Block of East Front Street, Traverse City, Michigan, after a snowstorm. Businesses pictured are the Hannah & Lay Mercantile and the Traverse City State Bank in the far background. All six of the brick structures that comprise the Mercantile are standing in this photograph. The image is undated, but it was probably taken prior to 1928, when the store closed and the building was purchased and operated by Montgomery Ward.
