Abstract
Digital collection of photographs from Sally (Hammer) Norman­MacDonald’s personal
family photographs. Norman has strong family ties to the Kingsley area, with relatives
from several prominent Kingsley families including the Tremains, the Hammers and the
Nickersons. Includes photographs of members of these families, as both portraits
of individuals and group photographs, and photographs Kingsley businesses and
recreational clubs.
History
Sally (Hammer) Norman­MacDonald has strong family ties to the Kingsley area, with
relatives from several prominent Kingsley families including the Tremains, the Hammers
and the Nickersons.

Includes individual members of families of Kingsley, Michigan, including the Tremains,
the Hammers and the Nickersons. Family members appear in both individual and group
shots. Also includes several businesses of Kingsley, including the Case and Overholt
Store, and the Tremain gas station. Selection was made at the donor’s discretion; donor
collected photographs from family members over a period of years.
