Description
This is a photograph of three nurses at the Traverse City State Hospital Training School for Nurses ca 1911. One, with the dark band on her cap, appears to be a registered nurse or a graduate nurse. Those without the band would be student nurses. The picture was obtained from Ann (Lautner) Anthony whose mother, Julia Thoreson Newman, had graduated from the nursing school in 1911.
