The text reads, "Our vacation has been grand But we're asking something more, And we'll get the information At the Mayfield Store. We're inquiring for the place Where they're catching speckled trout And we've just received directions That will lead us there no doubt. Now a little later on I may find time to write, And I wish that you were here For some speckled trout tonight. Sincerely yours, --." Included in an album created by Edith Halladay Blackhurst on the history of the Adams Fly, Created by Leonard Halladay, and the dedication of Mayfield Pond Park.
