Six black and white photographs showing construction of The Bowl in 1928, the outdoor auditorium used in the early years and remodeled recently for continued use. The pine trees on the property were used to build it.
The National High School Orchestra Camp, National Music Camp, Interlochen Arts Academy, Interlochen Center for the Arts are all names used over the years for an organization that started as a summer camp and has grown into a year around center for all the arts. It began in 1927 in the Hotel Pennington on Green Lake near interlochen.
