Description
1947 Centennial Parade of Traverse City, Bearded Men, parade of men standing in front of the Bo-Gi Canteen, West Front Street, Traverse City. Also in background are Arnold's Office Supply, Petander's Tires, the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, and Kroger's. There are approximately one-hundred and fifty men in this photograph, most all have facial hair, and many are attired in period dress, dating from mid-1800s to pre-1920. The line is continued in photographs 2017.9.2 and 2017.9.3.
