Photograph of six men posing outside with a copy of the Traverse City Record Eagle with the headline "U. S. Declares War on Kaiser." They were probably part of the A. Tracy Lay Naval Reserve Unit. The photo was taken in Elk Rapids next to the Power House, probably at a reunion of the group. Three of the six men are identified. The second from left is Fred Smith, the fourth from left is Fred Seabrook and the one on the far right is identified as Dave C.
