Description

Black and white photographic postcard taken in Fife Lake, Michigan. Image shows three men, one in shadow in the background, and two men in the foreground, holding a pole lengthwise between them, on which hand 5 fish. The fish extend from the men's waists to their knees and ankles, and are heavily speckled without stripes, likely Northern Pike. Both men are wearing Jaxon-style hats, button down shirts, trousers, and working boots. They are standing in the drive of a gas station. On the left, you can see the gas pumps, although any other identifying information is lost in shadow. In the far background, a car is parked in the street, and its make also appears to be from the 1920s. There are no markings to identify the postcard manufacturer.
