Photograph postcard in black and white of Fife Lake, Michigan. Fife Lake sits at the southeastern corner of Grand Traverse County. In photograph is the lake, the lakeshore, stunted shrubs and beach grass, and a few small trees. In the far distance on the right, across the lake, is the town of Fife Lake. A few buildings can be seen, but not with any detail. On the back of the postcard is a short not from "Garry" to "C. Lightfoot of West Richfield, Ohio, Box 115." Garry addresses the note to his "Dear folks," and lets them know his traveling party procured two cottages together, and that he had not been fishing yet. Postal date stamp says August 20, 1928, from Fife Lake. Their is no evidence as to the postcard manufacturer.
