Office of J. Steinberg,
Dealer in Dress Goods and Clothing.
Traverse City, Mich April 29th 1886
Mr. Cohn + Levy
Gents
I find that you have changed lot 640
in to a different pattern + quality satine-suit
you have charged lot 109 with all dozen
and sent but ½ dozen in Stead.
you have also sent 1 ½ dz cotton pants
which I had not bought them al all
neither do I like your 676 +640 the way
it is made to tell the truth it is the
poorest make I have ever seen if I
had not paid 3.00 freight for it I
would have returned the all at once
but however, the goods are subject to
your order unless you will make
reductions as follows.
over
50¢ per suit lot 676 +640
100 allowance on 676 pants 12.00 inStead of 14.00
150 “ “ cotton pants 8.50 in “ 10.00
Should you not allowed, I shall be
obliged to return and charge you
with the freight, and if you do
will send you draft by return
mail. Yours Truly
