Home on Arbutus Lake, July, 1959. This home was built and owned by Don and Fanny Evens in 1918. It was sold to Max and Bessie Mills in 1920. Max drowned in July, 1924 in a boat accident. Herbert Dunn of Kingsley was in the boat at the time. Later Bessie married Homer Middaugh. Bessie, Homer and George Wise owned the Arbutus Lake Resort store.
