Description
Album created by Edith Halladay Blackhurst, with photographs donated by Sarah Chowning and Frances Wilson, concerning the development and dedication of the Mayfield Pond Park and the Leonard and Mary Halladay Family Memorial Park. The Pond dam and spillways were reconstructed during this time. In the Memorial Park, a set of pillars with dedication plaques were constructed by craftsman Clifford Jacobs, honoring the Halladay Family and the Adams Dry Fly. Jacobs also shored up the original Halladay fireplace to create an outdoor grill for the pavilions picnic area. Along with the fireplace, the low stone wall erected by the Halladay's remains at the edge of the Memorial Park.
