state Street Property Owners Will Ap­
pear Before the Boerd of Public
Works This Afternoon.
Another petition was presented to
tbe property owners along State street
today for paving material. This peti­
tion was put out by friends of brick
pavement and up until S;30, eight
signers had been obtained represent­
ing quite a largo frontage and the
street bad not been nearly covered.*
This petlUQo will be presented at the
meeting of the board of public works
this afternoon. The board will pass
upon tbe various bids and materials
and make a recommendation to the
council tonight.
