To say that “it will inter^est everybody” may seem a strong
statement, but we speak from past experiences and feel sure
that we make no mistal^in making the statement this time.
Every summer we have our grand closing out sale of all Sum
mer Goods. Last year it was the “Lockhart Mill End Sale” Con
ducted by Mr. Lockhart. Thq^ previous year we had our July
Unloading Sale, and the year before that the “Manufacturers’
& Importers’ Sale” conducted by Mr. Emerson. All have been
grand successes. This year wfe inaugurate the sale ourselves
and call it the “Mid-Summer Clearance Sale.” And it will be a
clearance sale in dead earnest. We have cut prices deeper
than we ever did before. We can do it because we are under
no extra expense. Furthermore we have enjoyed the best
trade we ever had and can better' afford to cut prices now. It
is our desire to close out everything that has a spring or sum
mer nature. The prices we make for this sale have never been
