Greet Evening Display of Fireworks'
In the evening will be given the finest display of fireworks ever seen
•n Northern Michigan.
This display wrti open with a grand salute of Un mammoth maroons
similar to those exploded at sunrise.
These will be followed by several 25-foot ‘magnificent , firfvrorks balloons carrying with them a fine display of fireworks, which explode s\ s
great height, making a pleasing and magnificent feature of the oco^on.

Following this, will be the reguUr display, consisting of several isauti*
ful set pieces and an endless variety of mid-air lirevsorks.
This display will be made on the market site, the same as the day firevworks. and cpecUtort should gather o« the south bank of'the river in
the groundc of Hannah park, where is a great amphithestre capable of
holdm a hundred thousand people. The ground is of such a character that
everyone w>U nave a dear view of the market site from which the'display
will be made.

Excursions on Bay
Among the numerous attractionscf the day. Will be excursions by the
beautiful new steamer Chequamegon to Marion Island Resort and return,
every two hours, leaving the dock at 9:00 and 11:00 a. m.. and at 1:00,
3:0C. 5:Cfl and 9:30 p. m. Oanemg al pkyilion.
sAame Onekama will run (wc round trips on the Fourth, leaving
Bowers Harbor and Ne^ la wants at 8:00 a. m., and 5:30 p. m., return­
ing will leave Traverse City at 4:00 p. m. and 10:00 p. m.

The Big. Manistique Excursion.
The car and steam ferry Manistique will bring a large excursion from.
Manistique and Northport. stopping at Northport on the return trip at
night. The excursion is under the auspices of Evergreen lodge No. 19 of
the mambors of Traversa City lodge No. 73. will give a
special and cordial welcome to v.siting Knighta, giving them and Ihe.r
families free meals al ths K. of P. hall at 241 East Front strest which
wil be K. of P. headquarters for tre day. The boat will reach Traversa
City at £ a. m. and leave Traversa City at 5 p. m.

Special Theatrical Performances
Both opera houses and the electrls theatres will give continuous chsap
