Mr- Hilbert is starOng at this lime

In' large cities where the lines
can be profitably operated on the pass

they would go to the state. As far
re are concerned we'would as soon
pay them to tbe city as to the state.
It would amount to about the eame.”
In this connection U K. Gibbs potnt1 out that the city would probably
agree to exempt the company for t
few years anyway.
Tbe promoters deelre that the name
of the company shall be known as the
Traverse City A Peninsula Railroad
Co., instead of the Traverse City Elec.

that the company shall provide as
"metallic return circuit wire” to pre

method Is not now used as a preventa
tive of electrolysis and tbe now ordi
nance Simply states that the company
shall take surti steps as shall prevent

company.
Mr. Boselly states tbe
company would do this for selfprotedkm. One -clause in the old
