This is a photograph of a group of student nurses at the TCSH Training School for Nurses around 1911. The only person identified in the picture is Emma Thum who graduated in 1912. She is the second from the right in the back row.

This is the class of 1940 from the Traverse City State Hospital Training School for Nurses dressed for an outing, likely the baccalaureate services held the Sunday after the graduation ceremony.

The drum and bugle corps of the American Legion, Bowen Holiday Post #35 in Traverse City taken before 1942. Louis Petertyl is identified as the bass drummer on the left. He died in 1942.
