My Dear Miss. Taft: - I have the other slip from Joe Perkett for the other apples which was 27 bushels so he can't help but pay you for them. And Mr. Brieden said he never saw apples sorted & put up any nicer than those were. He said nicer than they needed to be.

I intend to go to ( ) as soon as Joseph's next check comes & make a day of it. I have to pay to go up with some one or go up on the truck so don't feel as though can go very often. Nina left Charlie & took the three youngest children & the car when he came home Mon night she was gone. No one knows where. I am very sorry this ever happened.

Roger is waiting for me to finish this note so he can go to school. I felt too sick to write last night so went to bed & feel better this morning. The children received those papers & thank you many times for sending them.

Please don't worry about apples as every thing is all O.K. Am only too glad to do any thing I can to help you.

With love Essie
