To Miss Taft Are weather is terrible we had rain nearly ever day last week and now it is foggy Max has draged the corn ground three times in getting ready to plant corn. and ever time he was thru draging it would rain and harden the ground so he have do it over again. [Fay Dohn] has his corn in on Mrs Crampton. and he says to Max your lucky not to have your corn in. I am afraid mine will not Max say we will have to have some more hay. I went to Mrs. Lardie funeral last Thursday. She had a very small funeral I was surprised as well known as she was. There were only three mourners. I gave in money for flowers the neighborhood was getting. she passed away out to acme. were that woman was taking care of her. I guess Mrs Mills was played out. Mrs Lardie been out there about four weeks I have some of My garden in. The pump jack fell down on Ronald back last week and cut him very bad on back. I thought I would have take him into Dr for a while Miss Jennison was to the door Sunday Nite she was so impressed with the beauty of farm as stood in yard. oh she said this is just beautiful. I could stand here for hours and just look. her father Mr Jennison fell in love with the song birds we had around [he he] found a arial next in elm tree at North of house. and he was interested to know if little wren was back. which she was Max say the sweet cherry's look pretty light for crop but sour look to be a good crop and the apples are in full bloom.
