Thompsonville is in Benzie Co. about 10 miles S.W. of Karlin. It had lumber mills as long as the timber held out and was one of the first towns in the area (about 1912) to have electric lighting from a dam and generator on theā€¦

Marce Keillor and Arvid Tesaker. Arvid was the Soil Conservation District agent for Traverse City, Gaylord, and Benzie County for 43 years and retired in 1975. Marce was on the Benzie County Soil Conservation Board.

Twenty-one Men, standing with shovels, pick axes, and axes at a CCC camp. The envelope that it came in stated that it was a camp in Beulah on Crystal Lake, with Stan Rae as the foreman, the accuracy of these labels is unknown.
