Description

The Kresge Assembly hall was the second performance structure built at the camp. Seating was partially covered at first and is now fully covered. It faces Green Lake.
The National High School Orchestra Camp, National Music Camp, Interlochen Arts Academy, and Interlochen Center for the Arts are all names used over the years for an organization that started as a summer camp and has grown into a year around center for all the arts. It began in 1927 in the Hotel Pennington on Green Lake near Interlochen.
