Description
The wreck of the "Rising Sun" off Pyramid Point in Leelanau Co. The ship foundered on October 29th, 1917. The photo was taken by Carrie (Labare) Craker. (From the left) Martha (Popa) Craker is shown holding her daughter Julia Craker, next to W. A. Craker and Clifford Cracker. The remaining people are unidentified. The boat was once owned by the religious group House of David.
