Looking west in Karlin with the potao warehouse in the background, the white Post Office, Komrska store on the left, Felix store on the right.
Karlin was a stop on the M&NE railroad near the south end of Green Lake. It had a depot for shipping agricultural products from Grant Township farms and was the center of a community of mostly immigrant farmers lured from Chicago by the promise of good farm land.
