Typed letter on official Tin Can Tourists of the World Inc. letterhead written by G. C. Stemen, Secretary of the Tin Can Tourists, dated to October 17, 1951. The letter is addressed to Merle C. Lutz, Secretary of the Traverse City Chamber of Commerce. Stemen mentions the other reunions of the Tin Can Tourists in Tampa, Florida when invitations from city authorities are read for the Tin Can Tourist Board of Directors to decide on the next location for the Annual Convention, Annual Summer Convention, Annual Homecoming, and other official meetings. Stemen invites Mayor Sleder and other city officials to forward the Traverse City invitation to be presented to the directors. "Copy" is written in pen at the top of the letter.
