Dear Sir,
I send you today a section
of building showing the door and under
openings in wall – as it will be very hard to
arrive at the exact level of the door open-
ings till you build the graded floor and
as the doors will be made of different heig-
hts to suit the incline -we have given
you the height of the opening in the
brickwork from level of joisting 2nd
floor. these frames should not be built
in now – but put in afterwards, and
it will be a small matter if you have
built up the openings a few courses too
many or to few to adjust same when
the inclined floor has been built
which of course will not be done
till the roof is on the building
(2)
merely now build up the jambs plumb
and in width openings. we have mar-
ked and spring the aches over the
centers and it will be all right. the
Window frame in ticket office there
the brick wall can be built in now
and have sent detail of same.
I have also sent drawings for the store front and will during the
week send drawings showing the
timbering of inclined floor
and gallery- you have now I think
all the details for frames that
come in the walls. and can go
right on. I suppose you have the
drawing for Bay Window belt Weatherly said he would send it-
Yours truly
