"The suit Is brought against Sault
Sle. Marie tor the following reason
The government had a contract with
the city to furnish a certain pressure
of water in the mains at the barracks.
At the time of Uie fire there was abso­
lutely DO water. A few hours Jater the
pgessure was not half what the city
Sgreed to'keep up. The government
claims that had there been Uie pres­
sure of water agreed upon the bar­
racks would ndt have been destn. .
"We have filed the bill with the city
and If the Soo does not seUle the suit
will proceed."
