From back of postcard: "OLD MISSION LIGHT HOUSE, 20 miles North of Traverse City, Michigan, on Old Mission Peninsula, stands one of Michigan's most famous landmarks. Originally built in 1870, it lies exactly on the 45th parallel just halfway between the North Pole and the equator It is open to visitors with refreshment stand and a beautiful beach open to the public. It is near the town of Old Mission on M37 with an old Indian mission, steak house, and gift shops just minutes away."
