Printed on back of image: "Old Mission Point Lighthouse- Picturesque Old Mission Peninsula with its beautiful shorelines and cherry orchards, separates the East and West arms of Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay. The lighthouse at its tip was built in 1870 and stands exactly halfway between the equator and the North Pole on the 45th parallel."
