Mr Julius Steinberg
Traverse City, Mich.
Dear Sir.
Your letter of the 26th inst. received joists
2” x 12”- 20’-0” long are intended for wing part and
gallery. There are 86 pcs of that size billed. 22 pcs
for 1st floor, wing part, to be cut in two, 20 pcs
for 2nd floor, wind part, also to be cut in two,
and the rest 44 pcs. For gallery as originally drawn.
But with alterations made in plans since bill
of lumber was made, it may require more or less
joists in wing part than billed for same.
Soil pipe is marked on plan in wall between
main building and wing part I suppose you mean
sewer pipe which is to run through rear wall into
river. This should be next wall dividing main
building and wing as this would be the shortest
run to soil pipe. The pipe should have plenty of
fall from front to rear. Yours truly
W.S. Robinson Arch’t
C.S.N.?
