freeze and burst and give you a
great deal of trouble – the only wall
where the slat could be made would
be the minor wall near the front of the
building where the main staircase
goes up and there it might not
freeze- but that would be too
near the front of the building to
be of use and you would have to
run a long sewer tile down in
the basement. I think your idea
about the grade is the right one
better keep up higher in view of
future arrangement and grades-
than be left too lon- I think we
might insert enough heighting
surface in the ? to do the base-
ment and then have the rest laid
in tile – I think you are right about
the cut stones use the light colored
ones instead of the real ones –

We have made the plans so
that you may be able to see
them on your way east.
