HOvST,

following few lines are not directed to those
daily carry off our beautiful footwear, bub to
few who have not paid much attention to onr

SHOE
DEPARTMENT

Recently, and ju Ige our present stock by the limited
ami neglected stock of the old store. To judge by
calculation and not by observation is not fair. The
grand change in our shoe department must be seen
to be appreciated. The few odds and ends of shoes
of the old store are hardly traceable.
Our stock now is fresh, new and stylish, war
ranted in every respect, and above all our prices are
correspondingly as cheap as any goods we ever sold.
No need to expend extravagantly on good and stylish
footwear. A shoe is no better when paid 25* per
cent, more profit to the dealer. A high price may
sound pleasant to the extravagant but to the sensible
and money saving people reasonable value is first
considered.
We call particular attention to the ladies’ and
men's fine amid stylish kid and calf skin shoes, built
upon honor, for'$1.98. Coiii|}are it with any $3.0U
shoe on the market.
