Collection of items donated and preserved by the Kingsley Branch Library, covering
various aspects of regional history in and around Kingsley. Series include Kingsley,
Grand Traverse County, Paradise Township, Boardman River, Buckley, Fife Lake,
Freytown, Hannah, Mayfield, Summit City, Walton Junction, Benzie County and
Leelanau County.

Scope and Content Note
Collection is organized by place of origination of the items within the series. Content
covers Grand Traverse, Leelanau and Benzie Counties. The Kingsley Branch Library
retained these items and records for researchers and genealogists whose interest
spreads beyond Kingsley.
The items within the Kingsley series include Village of Kingsley master plans, the bylaws
of the Kingsley Farmers Market, ledgers from Kingsley businesses, and other original
materials that document the social and business history of Kingsley.
