Boat at the dock on Marion Island. The attraction on the island was a dance hall. The hall was actually located on Basset's Island which is now part of Marion Island. The dance hall is long gone.

Henry Ford on the dock of the We-Que-Tong Club. Ford's brother-in-law Milton Bryant owned the Grand Traverse Auto Ford dealership. Ford made many trips to Traverse City to visit and eventually owned Marion Island.

Postcard titled: "Scenic Beauty Along the Shores of Traverse Bay, Mich. Ford Island in the distance". Note the word "beauty" refers not just to the scenery but also to the three ladies along the shore.
